Privacy Policy

Vote For Nature is a community-led campaign run by volunteers and supported by the Community Planning Alliance. We take your privacy seriously and keep things simple: we collect only what we need, we never sell your data, and we never share it with third parties for their own purposes.

What we collect when you sign up

When you fill in the sign-up form, we collect your first name, last name (optional), email address, and postcode (optional). This information is used solely to:

  • Register you for the National Day of Action on April 18th 2026
  • Send you a confirmation email to verify your address
  • Keep you updated with campaign news and local events

Your postcode helps us show you events in your area. It is never used to identify you personally or shared with anyone else.

How we store your data

Your sign-up information is stored securely in Brevo (formerly Sendinblue), our email platform. Brevo is GDPR-compliant and stores data within the EU. We use it to manage our mailing list and send campaign emails — nothing else.

Website analytics

We use Plausible Analytics to understand how visitors use this site. Plausible collects no personal data, uses no cookies, and does not track you across sites or visits. All data is aggregated and anonymous. This is why you won't see a cookie consent banner on this site — there are no cookies to consent to. See Plausible's data policy for details.

Bot protection

We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect the sign-up form from automated abuse. Turnstile does not use cookies or collect personal data. It runs a brief, invisible check to confirm you're a real person.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link at the bottom of every email we send. If you'd like us to delete your data entirely, email support@vote-for-nature.org and we'll remove your information within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If we make any significant changes to how we handle your data, we'll let you know by email. This policy was last updated on 2 April 2026.
